Somebody holy once said that heaven is a celebration of the senses.  It is a heightened sensory awareness.  It is everything that you ever wanted to see or smell or hear or taste or touch.  I do not know for sure if what he said was the gospel truth, but it made me forget about seraphs and cherubs and trumpets and angels flapping by.  I clearly saw, as if I was already sitting there, a vast emerald ocean, a beach purer and longer than any white beach I’92ve been to, and a midday sun mellowed by a pristine ozone layer.

 I’92m still na’efve enough to believe that I will go to heaven when I’92m done with this world.  The big question is, will I see you there?
