Wanderlust Redux
After a few months of hibernation, wanderlust reared its wonderful head. In a few hours I’ll be off to CDO on a mission; to snatch a significant damsel in distress from the claws of her evil business empire and whisk her off to a predetermined resort in Camiguin Island. She doesn’92t know it yet and boy is she gonna be pissed!
I’92ve only been to Camiguin once and back then I was too green to appreciate some of the things it has to offer apart from that white island. This time the objects are hot springs and waterfalls. Too bad I’92ll only be there for a couple of days but one doesn’92t have to taste the entire package to know that it’92s good (ano daw?).
The next weekend will be a Galera escapade with the colleagues, a sorry replacement for our stunted Pandan Island adventure. Some escapades come with a price. With this one, it’92s the possibility of not seeing my boy Manny fight should there be, heaven forbid, no TV in the resort where we’92re going. That would be a dirty rotten shame, given that I’92ve waited months for that fight.
The weekend after that will be spent in the Republic of Bohol in another company sponsored event (Galera being one). I’92ll be there with the fiercest people the company has to offer. I’92m sure everyone has sharpened their fangs already as this particular activity promises to be a very competitive one.
A couple of days after coming back from Bojol (if you’92re familiar with the place you’92ll understand why its spelled with a J hehehe, peace mga sano!), I’92m gonna find myself in Bangkok for a bit of a junket trip, just an overnight thing, such a shame really.
November is beginning to become my favorite month of the year, unless of course December can pull out something spectacular out of its yuletide ass.
