The little boy has been shutting himself up in his room for days now. His father was beginning to get anxious. The boy’s mother died a couple of weeks back and ever since, the little boy seemed like he was retreating to himself. The father resolved to talk to his son at the earliest opportunity. The following day, his son in tow, father and son went to the park and found an empty bench.
Asking his son to sit down, he looked at him tenderly saying, “Son, is there anything you wish to talk to me about? I know you miss your mother but I believe it would help if we talk about it.”
“It’s not about mom.”
“Then what is it?”
“Do you really want to know?” The boy, only nine years old, asked his father.
“Yes please!” The father exclaimed.
“Alright.” The boy said. “I am in love.”
The father burst out laughing, “Is that it? I feared you would say something terrible.” Heaving a huge sigh of relief, a big smile plastered across his face, he messed up his son’s hair.
“Is there anything more terrible than being in love?” The little boy asked.

No entry here. I am just mentally replaying a scene from Love Actually.
There are times when I would just space out and stare at nothing. Some folks would say that I’m again lost in my own world. I usually don’t reply when I hear comments like that. First of all I couldn’t care less, and second of all, since they don’t know me that well, how can I make them understand that although I appear to be lost in thought sometimes, I am actually watching scenes of favorite movies – in my mind.
