You Know
I wish I can be that, you know, profound. But it’s such a pain. I could perhaps dive beneath the superficial truths that I’m constantly face to face with and see things that are usually invisible to the naked eye. Like seeing the building that a brick could become. Like being a visionary, you know.
And become more engaging. I want to be like that too, you know. More often than not, I walk through my colleagues like I would a road littered with dead people’s rotting corpses. I couldn’t care less. I know I should be more chitty-chatty or more beso-besoer, but it takes a lot of energy, you know, especially when you can’t hide you’re contempt for certain folks.
This world is so full of compromises, you know. Even when people say that you just have to be yourself, what they actually mean is you have to be yourself at your own private time, when you have people surrounding you, you need to also take their feelings into consideration. It’s hard to smile and ask people to reconsider their rather myopic views about things in a nice way when you know you can just muscle in and do things you’re way. Or pull rank, end of story. But you know, we like to do things the hard and diplomatic way, we have to cajole and persuade and massage other people’s ego because we never know if we still need these people in the future. Haay, budlay gid, but what can you really do, you know?
It’s really hard to be yourself especially in our country, with our culture, you know.
If I could be myself then that would mean walking around shirtless attending all my meetings… heheheHave a nice day! Take it easy.Who cares for as long as you’re polite and respectful, you know!

Anna, my “angst”, hmmm looks like i need to work on that more; although I sincerely believe I’ve already mellowed down considerably. Alright, as to your “interview questions” hahaha, I’ll need some time to answer those. You ask the most thought-provoking questions, (but I already expected that)still, I need to think a bit if only to provide answers that are, hopefully, worthy of your questions.
