The Road Less Traveled
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood and the man knew he was definitely lost. He would have loved to swim in the curvatures of the left path but that would mean straying from the mentally stimulating promise of the well-lit right alley. He’s a man and he wants to have his cake and eat it too.
So one day he was discovering the delights of the left path’s contours and when no one was looking, he’d take a detour and bask in the brilliant conversation of the right alley. But life being a circle in the middle of the yellow wood, soon the two roads diverged again. He realized that he can’t live without both roads so he decided to create a bridge that would allow him to savor the pleasure that the two roads offer.
He almost lived happily ever after but the environmentalists got wind of his bridging activities and they arrested him for upsetting the balance of nature. Now he’s serving time for bigamy, and instead of the pleasure of the two roads, he’s now the one giving pleasure with his back-alley, that less-traveled road.
