My sister is a drama queen. Always have been. Unfortunately she\’92s got an insensitive prick for a brother. Errm, not really. I love the little sis (what little? She\’92s like a baby hippo. Gad.) but I don\’92t like to pamper her. She needs to learn the hard truths. It\’92s a cruel world and the earlier she\’92s potty trained the easier will be her transition to the real world.
Dealing with family is a balancing act. On one hand, there\’92s the overpowering need to protect them and to ensure that no harm comes to them, on the other, there\’92s the need to mold them and to prepare them to face life in their own terms. Sometimes it\’92s difficult to allow them to do stupid things knowing that it would only cause them grief but there\’92s no other way to let them experience pain and learn from it.
