I am appalled that people would actually speak "text" in office communications. It may be the sign of the times but I think business communication is still sacred enough to not just frown on these ‘intrusions’. This kind of communication should be eradicated wherever they exist in the business universe. I am all for expediency and facilitation but when it threatens the nobility (toink!) of the written corporate communication, I froth at the mouth and go completely ballistic. And I don’t know why.
