Piercing the Marriage Veil

Some guys give marriage a bad name. They do this by using it as a shield to shy away from their obligations. How can you say to someone you’re supposed to support, “Sorry, I’m already married.” As if that alone is an impenetrable excuse to get away scot-free.

“That is the dumbest excuse in the history of dumb excuses.” I told my friend when he related to me what happened to him recently.

If you have an obligation before marriage; you see it through to the end. Period. That’s the way it’s got to be. That is what real men do. Hiding behind the hallowed veil of a supposedly sacred institution is not only dishonorable but also cowardly.
